EXPOSITION
After God created Adam, he realized that man should not live alone, so God created a woman for Adam. One of the main aims of of God creating the woman is for human beings to multiply on earth.
Be aware that God gave the woman to the man for marriage and not to another man or an animal. It means God designed marriage to be between only a man and a woman, who were biologically male and female, respectively at birth.
