Namong District Celebrates Joyful Mass Wedding For 12 Couples

The Church of Pentecost Namong District of the Wa Area recently hosted a spirit-filled mass wedding ceremony, bringing together twelve couples in holy matrimony. The event, held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, was a celebration of love, commitment, and the Church’s commitment to promoting godly marriages and strengthening family life.

Pastor Karim Awuni, the officiating minister, emphasised the sanctity of Christian marriage, mutual respect, and the importance of building homes on biblical foundations. He encouraged the newlyweds to uphold the values of love, patience, and faithfulness as they begin their lifelong journey together.

The auditorium was filled with family, friends, church leaders, and members, who joined in the excitement, songs, and heartfelt prayers. The atmosphere was jubilant as each couple exchanged vows, sealing their commitment before God and His Church.

Overseer Joseph Kyei Asomaning, the District Minister for Namong District, expressed gratitude to God for the success of the event and thanked the Wa Area Head, Apostle Bernard Azizu Mohammed Abogorago, the officiating minister, and all who contributed to the event’s success.

The Namong Mass Wedding demonstrates the Church’s mission to nurture strong Christian families and provide a platform for couples to begin their marital journey with divine blessing and community support.

The ceremony was graced by notable guests, including Mrs. Dorcas Awuni, Overseer Evans Omari Danso, Overseer Bright Alanyo, and community chiefs, reflecting the unity and fraternity among the church and the community.
