EXPOSITION
No one will want his or her loved ones destroyed. However, sin can bring destruction on a person and his entire family. A family can be tagged as a family of thieves just because one person steals.
Likewise, an entire family can be cursed because one person committed sin. Gehazi’s greed brought destruction to his entire descendants. If he knew his sin would bring leprosy on generations that survived him, he would have stopped.
Be careful as a child of God not to lead your family into destruction.
