Elder Seth Yaw Peasah, a National Executive Committee Member of the Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, has asserted that Jesus is the same forever, stressing that the power demonstrated by believers in the early church is available today.
Elder Peasah made this declaration last night while preaching at the ongoing “Togo for Christ” crusade at Adidogome Park in Lome, Togo.
Using Hebrews 13:8 and Malachi 3:6 as scripture references, he emphasised that Jesus Christ does not change; He is the same forever.
He explained that all the miraculous things Jesus did, such as raising the dead, can still be done by believers through faith in Him and His name.
“Jesus Christ still does today what was done in the olden days,” he said.
Elder Peasah noted that the same Jesus who raised Lazarus and Jairus’ daughter from death is alive today and continues to demonstrate His power for those who have faith in Him and His name.
