This week, we have been looking at the topic of Knowing and Living for God. It is clear that “knowing” God is of necessity a more complex business than “knowing” another person, just as “knowing” my neighbour is a more complex business than “knowing” a profession, a book, or a language.
The Church has been positioned in these contemporary times with fathers who have set the pace for us to follow. Fathers with the ministry of the word, fathers with a series of encounters amongst others whom we can follow, learn from, know God and Live for Him — Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
