Apostle Amos Jimmy Markin

Apostle Amos Jimmy Markin is the Evangelism Director of The Church of Pentecost.

He was born in 1964 at Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana. He holds a Master of Arts in Religion from the University of Ghana, Legon, and is presently studying with the South Africa Theological Seminary, South Africa.

Apostle Jimmy Markin was called into the full-time ministry of The Church of Pentecost in 1991 and has since served as a minister of the Church in various stations and capacities in and outside Ghana.

He is married to Mrs. Mavis Markin Asiedu and they are blessed with four children.


– He is responsible for the administration of the Evangelism Ministry

– He chairs the Evangelism Ministry Executive Committee meetings in the absence of the Patron

– He prepares and carries out the Ministry’s programmes and implement decisions of the General Council, the Executive Council and the Ministry’s Executive Committee

– He prepares the Agenda for Evangelism Ministry Executive Committee meetings and makes them available to members

– He plans programmes for evangelism in cities, towns and villages

– He directs affairs during the Ministry’s Leadership meetings and other related activities of the Ministry

– He provides study material for the Ministry

– He performs such other functions and duties as may be assigned by the Ministry’s Executive Committee or The Chairman of The Church

– He liaises with other evangelistic bodies in the para-churches and other Christian organizations

– He is responsible to the Chairman of The Church

– He reports on the state of the Ministry to the General Council through the Executive Council.
