“Possess The Nation Through Prayer” – Pastor Ayiku Quarshie Charges Christians
The Resident Minister of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) Konongo, Pastor Isaac Ayiku Quarshie, has charged Christians to possess the nations through prayer.
Speaking on the theme, “I Will Build My Church Through Prayer,” during a Lord’s Supper service on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the PIWC-Konongo auditorium, Pastor Quarshie said that, “the Church is the most powerful institution Jesus Christ has handed over to His disciples.”
He explained that, the Church handles both natural and supernatural things, hence the Church cannot possess and transform the nation if Christians do not resort to extraordinary prayers and intercessions in an attempt to handle both the natural and supernatural matters of the nation.
He urged believers to acknowledge that “the Church is both salt and light” and one that is much loved by Jesus Christ.
“The Church is an extension of heaven on earth, therefore a house for the Father. It takes prayers and revelation to be able to enter into the Father’s gate and also come to terms with the great promises of God for those that serve Him in Spirit and in truth,” he stressed.
With references to Mathew 16:13-19, Ephesians 3:14-16, 1 Timothy 3:14-15 and Revelation 5:5, he noted that prayer and revelation are the keys to accessing the goodness of God.
“The Church is a family of lions, and so as the lion roars in terror so should the Church roar at all times in prayer,” he added.
Pastor Isaac Ayiku Quarshie used the opportunity to crave the indulgence of the congregation to involve themselves in the Church’s Environmental Care Campaign which seeks to transform the nation in terms of good sanitation practices.
