Ashaiman Area Donates 50 Dustbins To Schools In Ashaiman

The Ashaiman Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated 50 pieces of dustbins worth GhȻ10,000.00 to some schools in the Ashaiman Municipality, including the Pentecost Preparatory School.

The items, donated by the Area Head, Prophet David Kankam Beditor, formed part of the activities marking nationwide Environmental Care Campaign recently embarked upon by the church.

Receiving the items, the Headmaster of the Pentecost Preparatory School expressed gratitude to the Lord and the leadership of the church for the kind gesture. He assured them that the items will be well managed and used for the intended purpose.

The week-long event, which was well patronized by members of the church and the community people, was climaxed with a general clean-up exercise held on Saturday, February 29, 2020.

Also present to participate in the exercise were some Assembly Members of the Municipal Assembly.

Prophet David Kankam Beditor, an Executive Council Member, who led the campaign, expressed much satisfaction and great joy at the commitment by the ministers and members of the church towards the campaign.

“We must all endeavour to maintain the attitude of cleanliness even after the campaign so that we can live healthy lives always,” he said.
