82 Souls Rescued On Day Three Of ‘Accra For Christ Crusade’
The Lord Jesus continues to save many persons from eternal destruction at the ongoing ‘Accra For Christ Crusade’ at the Kaneshie Anglican School Park.
The Day Three of the mammoth crusade on Thursday, November 21, saw 82 souls surrendering to the Lordship of Christ. Out of the number, 47 were baptised in water in the night with nine receiving Holy Spirit baptism.
Earlier in the morning prayers held at the Kaneshie Central Assembly auditorium, 113 people were healed by the power of the Holy Spirit from various ailments.
Preaching the Gospel Message on the night, the Madina Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Martin Seth Appiah, threw an open invitation to the people to come to Jesus and have their situations changed for the better. He described the invitation as unique and superb, since it is only Christ who can help people to come out of their weary and wretched conditions.
Reading from Isaiah 61:1 and Matthew 11:28ff, no matter one’s challenges and problems, Jesus has the power and authority to make it better because he has been anointed to bring liberation to humanity.
He described sin as a heavy burden on the neck of humanity, and that only Jesus has the antidote to deal with sin.
Apostle Appiah interspersed the message with personal living testimonies about how God saved his life from deadly diseases and other powerful divine interventions in his ministry.
The night featured sensational gospel doyen, Elder Dr Kwasi Mireku, who shook the grounds with spirit-filled gospel songs.
So far, 237 persons have surrendered their lives to Christ since the crusade began on Tuesday, November 19. The breakdown is as follows: Tuesday – 94, Wednesday – 61, and Thursday – 82.
The four-day crusade which is being jointly organised by the National Evangelism Coordinating Committee, Staff of The Church of Pentecost Headquarters and the Kaneshie Area, is expected to come to an end today, Friday, November 22, 2019.
