Tontokrom Gets New Church Building

It was a joyful moment for members of Tontokrom District in the Ashanti Bekwai Area of The Church of Pentecost when their central church building was dedicated on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.

Giving a brief history of the assembly, Elder David Yeboah, the Presiding Elder and District Financial Committee Chairman, noted that the assembly was established in the year 2000 by Pastor Gyampoh, the then District Minister of Keniago.

According to him, the assembly worshipped in a classroom till a temporary structure was put up on the current premises. In 2016, the foundation stone was laid by the then Area Head, Apostle Kenneth Baffoe Antwi. The auditorium was constructed at the total cost of GH¢132, 150.00

Pastor Peter Danso Duku of Manso Adubia District, speaking at the ceremony on the theme: “The Lord shall deliver you from your enemies,” encouraged the members to boldly go out and proclaim the gospel and bring more souls to occupy the building.

The Area Head, Apostle Nicholas Appiah Missah, who dedicated the building, commended the District Minister, Overseer Bright Frimpong and the members for their selfless contribution and dedication towards the completion of the church building.
