Santasi District Donates To Kumasi Central Prisons

The Santasi District in the Kwadaso Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated assorted food items worth GH¢26,000.00 to the Kumasi Central Prisons.

The donation formed part of the Church’s social responsibility to the society and the activities marking their 10th Anniversary celebrations.

The items included 100 bags of rice, 10 bags of gari, large quantity of provisions, 30 boxes of sanitary pads and 10 boxes of bathroom slippers.

Prior to the donation, about 1,200 members from the district marched through the principal streets from Santasi to the Kumasi Central Prisons, amidst sharing the gospel to bystanders.

The District Minister, Pastor Dan Nyampong Asihene, presented the items to the Chaplain-in-Charge of the facility. Present to assist him were Pastor Annor Anim (Kwadaso Area Prisons Coordinator) and Elder J. K. Bimpeh (Anniversary Committee Chairman).
