Odina – Oguaa Central Gets Church Building After 44 Years

It was all joy when the stunning Odina–Oguaa Central Assembly Church building in the Winneba Area of The Church of Pentecost has been dedicated after 44years of its existence in the community.

The event, which took place on December 17, 2017, was officiated by the Winneba Area Head, Apostle Professor Peter Ohene Kyei. He was assisted by the District Minister, Overseer Solomon Kwasi Kyei and the ministers in the Area. Also present to grace the occasion were the traditional leaders of the community.

In his remark, the Chief of Gomoa Oguaa is also the Esihen of the Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Area and the immediate past Customer Relations Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana, Nana Dantsi II (known in private life as Mr Arthur Forson) wondered whether he was in a church in the city or one in his own Gomoa Oguaa Community due to the elegant nature of the building.

The 600–seater auditorium with washrooms, two offices and children’s worship hall, which was estimated to have cost GH¢115,542.70, was funded through grants from the Headquarters and donations from individuals with Elder DSP Joshua Essuman alone directly donating GH¢11,600.00 towards the completion of the project.
