Muslim Lady Surrenders To Christ

The climax of this year’s National Evangelism Week of The Church of Pentecost on Sunday, June 10, 2018, saw a Muslim surrendering her life to Jesus Christ at the Adansi Atwereboana Central Assembly in the Assin Foso Area.

The 26-year-old lady, Adiza Mohammed, a Muslim by birth, had never been to church before. According to her, she came from Koforidua in the Eastern Region to attend the funeral of her friend which was held in the town.

Adiza explained that one of her friends invited her to a church service, but she was reluctant to attend because it was against her belief. However, her friend convinced her and she obliged and followed her to the church.

She confessed that she was touched by the sermon preached by  the Assin Foso  Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Sylvester Arhin, on the topic: “I Am The God Of All Flesh; Is There Anything Too Hard For Me?” based on  Jeremiah 32:26.

According to her, the part of the sermon which touched her most was on the judgement of God which would be scary for unbelievers, and that all flesh must surrender their lives to Jesus who is the only Saviour of all flesh. “Nothing could stop me from walking through the congregation to the platform when the Man of God was inviting unbelievers to accept Christ. I could not resist that powerful call until I moved forward to surrender my life to Christ,” she said.

The Atwereboana District Minister, Pastor Enoch Eric Okra, was overwhelmed with joy over her new status in Christ. He encouraged her to follow Jesus Christ with all her heart no matter the challenges she would go through.
