Mankessim Area Pastorate Storms Hometown of Former General Secretary With The Gospel

Abura Ekotsia Kokodo, the hometown of the former General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Albert Amoah (Rtd), was on Thursday, 13th December 2018, hit with the gospel during a rally organized by the ministers of the Mankessim Area, led by the Area Head, Pastor James Nana Ofori.

The event was part of a four-day Area Ministers and Wives’ Residential Retreat which started from 11th to 14th December 2018 ahead of the Christmas conventions.

Abura Ekotsia Kokodo, a farming community in the Abura Gyabankrom District, became the centre for the outreach which saw a lot of residents turning up to hear the gospel. It was a great moment of revival and spiritual turn around, particularly for members of the local assembly of the Church.

Opening the rally, Pastor Nana Ofori stated, “We have come to announce to you that the Lord is good, and He will do you good.”

During their stay at the community, the pastors also paid a courtesy call on 94-year-old Mrs. Agatha Owiah Amoah, mother of the former General Secretary and some family members, who have been very instrumental in the growth and development of the Church in the area.

Meanwhile, ministers and their wives in the Area have applauded the Area Head for organising the retreat which they said has equipped them for effective ministry.
