Mamponteng District’s Women Ministry Holds Pre-Valentine Joint Service

The Mamponteng District Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost in New Tafo Area, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, organised a Pre-Valentine’s Joint Service for women in the district.

Speaking at the event on the topic, “Value Your Marriage,” the Assistant Area Women’s Ministry Leader, Mrs. Esther Boakye Duah (Mama Esther), appealed to men to appreciate and treat their wives with dignity.

Referring to Hebrews 13:4, the respected gospel artiste entreated husbands to consider their wives as their soul mates and appreciate them with love.

“Buy for your wives gifts and make them look attractive in the midst of other women. See your wife as the Christian sister you always uphold in church and behold them as wives when you are alone with them,” she said, adding, “That is the key to heaven.”

She also advised wives to possess a touch of foresight to know the good things in their men in order to modify them to enjoy a happy marriage. She admonished wives not to have any special affection for other men in church, saying, “Your husband exceeds them all so look into his future and change their pose.”

Mama Esther cautioned wives to desist from revealing the weakness of their men before their families since the consequences can be damning.

She asked women in the church to eschew acts of insincerity in their homes such as failing to keep their own homes but prefer going to the mission house to tidy up the surroundings. “Hypocrisy is when a woman is not in good terms with her Lord (husband) yet prefers to worship her pastor on sight.

“We must put a stop to these acts and address our darlings better than anyone. God demands it from us. I have built a name today not because of how talented and knowledgeable I am. Mama Esther outshined Adwoa, my widespread name because there is a man who loved and corrected my flaws,” she revealed.

Present at the service were the District Minister, Pastor Jerry Kusi Acquah and wife, Mrs. Abena Agyemang Acquah, the District Women’s Ministry leadership led by Deaconess Mavis Addai, among others.
