La Area Youth Ministry Celebrates Apostle Appiah Aidoo

The Youth Ministry in La Area of The Church of Pentecost has celebrated the ministry of Apostle John Appiah Aidoo and family for their invaluable support to the ministry.

Apostle Appiah Aidoo and his wife, Juliana have been transferred from the La Area to the Tarkwa Area in the Western Region.

At an Area Youth Joint Service which took place at the Dome of the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC)-Kokomlemle on Monday, September 3, 2018, the ministry appreciated the Appiah Aidoo family for their commitment, support, and keen interest in the activities of the Youth Ministry during their five-year stewardship in the Area.

The well attended service which was themed “An Instructor with a Fathering Spirit” (1 Corinthians 4:15), was put together by the leadership of the Area Youth Ministry, led by Pastor Isaac Osei.

The celebration night was dominated with music ministrations from Braa Kwaku, Emmanuel Arthur, Eric Paa Kwesi Abban, Anita Amo and Local Praise (a Jama group from Dr. Thomas Wyatt Assembly). Using her talent in spoken word, Sister Bernice Gyamfi showered appellations on the outgoing Area Head and his wife, enumerating their ministry and contributions to the Youth Ministry and the church as a whole.

There was a live Youth TV show by YTV, a TV production by Osu District, where some selected members testified about the Area Head and his wife, after which a citation was presented to them.

In his response, Apostle John Appiah Aidoo advised the youth to work hard towards their God-given dreams. He entreated them to meditate on Proverbs 6:16-19.

Apostle John Appiah Aidoo, first of seven siblings, was called into the full time ministry in 1989. He has so far served in the following stations: Nsoatre, Kibi, and Kaneshie districts. He has also served in Israel as National Head. From Missions, he has served as Area Head for Techiman, Suame and La Areas. His marriage with Mrs. Juliana Appiah Aidoo is blessed with four children, three boys and a lady.

In attendance were Apostle Emmanuel Kwesi Acquah (PIWC-Kokomlemle Resident Minister), Pastor Stephen O. Acheampong (La Area Secretary), Pastor Solomon Nii Asharley Djani (La District Minister), Pastor Emmanuel Paa Yirebi (Danquah Worship Centre Resident Minister and Chaplain to Tobinco Group of Companies), among others.
