Kete-Krachi Area Honours Past Women’s Ministry Leaders

A farewell service was held on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Borae Central church in honour of five past Kete-Krachi Area Women’s Ministry Executive Committee Members of The Church of Pentecost.

The former Area Women’s Ministry Executive were led by the immediate-past Area Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Gladys Nikasen who served in that capacity for 10 years.

Speaking on the topic, “Be A Victor Not A Victim,” with reference from Colossians 4:17, the Kumdi District Minister, Pastor Saviour Gomela, urged Christians to endeavour to render good services to the Lord and the Church whenever they called upon to serve at any level of the Church and also do their best to end their service on a positive note.

Pastor Gomela encouraged Christian leaders and Christians in general not to get tired of serving well in their callings and completing whatever assignment has been entrusted to them. He also entreated them to endeavour to do good to all people and ensure that nothing separates them from the love of Christ as stated in Romans 8:35-37.

The Kete-Krachi Area Head, Apostle Komi Edina Agbavitoh, in his remarks advised Christians to serve with diligence and faithfulness when they are given the opportunity to serve in any capacity of the Church. This is because there is an appointed day during which all actions will be brought to light. “We will only triumph if we remain faithful to the end,” he said.

He, therefore, commended the past ministry executives for the meritorious services rendered over the decade in the Area and called for God’s blessings for them.

Concluding his remarks, Apostle Agbavitoh assured Christians that God will fight all their battles for them, only if they remain faithful and righteous at all times.
“Christians need to be content with what they have instead of comparing themselves with others and sneaking to ‘false prophets’ for directions to prosper at all cost in life” he stated.

He added: “There is no need to go to false prophets and magicians for directions to become better in life; it is God who determines what one becomes at any point in time.”

The five reviewed leaders were presented with gifts and an undisclosed amount of cash in recognition of their services to the Church.
