Elders Prince Asare, Prosper Akadi Adjudged 2018 Chairman’s Best Workers

Elder Prince Kojo Asare of the Publications Office at The Church of Pentecost General Headquarters, and Elder Prosper Akadi, Executive Assistant at the Hohoe Area Office, are the joint receivers of the 2018 Chairman’s Best Worker Award.

The prestigious award was conferred on the duo by the Chairman of the Church, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, at the closing ceremony of the just ended 22nd Head Office Management and Staff Retreat on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh.

Speaking to PENTECOST NEWS after receiving the award, Elder Prince Asare expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to God for His grace and favour upon his life.

Asked how he felt after receiving the award, he stated: “It’s very humbling; I least expected it. The fact is I never worked with the aim of getting an award. So I feel privileged to receive this special award. It feels good for leadership to appreciate your work.”

“What has kept me going is that I consider my work as a ministry, and now I have received the blessings of God and leadership.”

Advising his colleague staff at the Head Office, Elder Asare encouraged them to work and serve the Lord with all their strength and their effort will never go unnoticed.

Elder Prosper Akadi, on his part, stated, “I feel honoured that this honour is given to me. I feel so happy and overwhelmed. It has given me the assurance that whenever we pray to God He hears us and does it at the right time.

“Through this award, people will know that God’s blessing, even though it tarries, it will surely come to pass.

“This award is going to help me work the more for the Lord without looking at anyone.”

“My advice to my fellow workers is that so long as you are on God’s side and continue to do His work, He will never ever forget you,” he concluded.

Elder Prosper Akadi who joined the Head Office in 1997, will retire next year after serving for 22 years.
