Dansoman Last Stop Crusade Wins 38 Souls

38 persons including a Muslim accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour during a gospel crusade organised by the Korle-Bu Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA), in collaboration with Mpoasei District of The Church of Pentecost in the Dansoman Area.

The crusade which took place from 7th to 9th September, 2018, was under the theme: “Jesus Christ: The Light of the World” (John 8:12). It was under the leadership of Pastor Emmanuel Kwesi Ake, Mpoasei District Minister.

Preaching the sermon on the first day of the crusade, Elder Joseph Tetteh, the Mpoasei District Evangelism leader, said the darkness that Jesus Christ dispels is not physical darkness. He pointed out that lack of knowledge of Jesus Christ leads to darkness.

He explained from Genesis chapter one that where there is darkness, there is disorderliness. He called on all and sundry to come to Jesus Christ since He is the only one who can perfect chaotic life and situations.

The President of PENSA Korle-Bu, Elder Emmanuel Adjei-Wiafe, speaking on the second day, revealed that Jesus’ miraculous birth, His ministry accompanied by miracles, signs and wonders, His death and resurrection and His abiding intercession, make Him the accredited Saviour of the world and the light that brings salvation to all who believe.

Reading from Acts 4:12, he asserted that although there are many religions in the world, Jesus Christ is the only one who grants eternal life and the only sure way to the Lord God.

He added that Jesus Christ is the Saviour of world, the healer of the world, the baptizer in the Holy Spirit and the one who will come and judge the world in the very near future.

To those who cannot make meaning of their life, Elder Adjei-Wiafe encouraged them with the assurance that “Jesus Christ is the destiny changer.”

On the last day of the crusade, Elder Michael Nana Yaw Fosu, the Assistant Evangelism leader of Mpoasei District, called on all who are under the yoke of sin to come to Jesus Christ and find rest.

Using the story of the woman who was caught in adultery in John chapter eight, he stated that God does not condemn anyone who seeks refuge in Christ. “God gives birth to the person anew and justifies the person,” he said.

He asked all to allow the light of God to shine on them whilst they are still alive.
