Chairman Dedicates Nyankpala Central Church Building

The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, on December 22, 2018, dedicated the Nyankpala District Central Assembly church building.

Speaking at the service, the Greater Accra Travelling Secretary for PENSA and former District Minister of Nyankpala, Pastor Ebenezer Hagan, said Isaiah’s prophecy of the coming Messiah in Isaiah 9:1-3-6 was a message of hope. He added that Jesus was the one to bring light to the world and to shine where darkness is.

He added that even though a child was born, it was a Son that was given because a child is helpless and it will take a Son to die on the cross.

He further stressed that Jesus had to grow up to age 30 before He began His ministry, saying, “We likewise cannot possess the nation if we remain as children.”

“Just as Jesus grew and turned things around and did many mighty works, we also need to grow and turn things around,” he added.

Pastor Hagan stated that if Jesus is a mighty God, believers also need to move in might. “If Jesus became the Prince of Peace, we also need to be agents of peace because He lives in us” he stressed.

The Chairman, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, in his closing address, said that Jesus Christ was given as a gift to humanity, and that a gift must be accepted before it can be of benefit to the receiver. He said the gift of God contains all the blessing that man needs in life.

Apostle Nyamekye emphasized that people are refusing this wonderful gift and are suffering greatly for it. “If only we will allow God’s gift into our lives, marriages, and businesses, we will have the peace of God and everything will work for our good,” he concluded.

Present at the service were the Tamale Area Head, Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani, who doubles as an Executive Council Member of the Church, Apostle Wilberforce Nkrumah-Agyemang (Bolgatanga Area Head), Apostle William Kojo Edzorhoho (Yendi Area Head), Evangelist Francis Yaw Adu (Walewale Area Head), the Tamale Area Pastorate and their wives. Also present was the wife of the Chairman, Mrs. Mary Nyamekye.
