2018 November Heads’ Meeting Ends

This year’s November Heads’ Meeting of The Church of Pentecost which commenced on Monday, November 12, came to a close on Friday, November 16, 2018, at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh in the Central Region.

The meeting, which was attended by Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, National/Area Heads, Rector, Deans and Ministry Directors, was the first to be chaired by the current Chairman, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, who was elected as the 6th Chairman of the Church in May this year.

The prayer and fasting meeting was on the theme, “I Will Build My Church,” which is the theme for 2019.

During the event, the new theme and the five-year strategic vision of the Church (Vision 2023) with the overarching theme: “Possessing the Nations: Equipping the Church to transform every sphere of society with values and principles of the Kingdom of God” were unveiled by the Chairman.

Speaking at the closing ceremony on Friday, Apostle Eric Nyamekye commended the heads, the various speakers and all those who played special roles in making the meeting a success, saying, “The spirit which characterised the deliberations of the vision document, indicates that as leaders, we are ready to possess the nations for Christ.”

He added: “Dearly beloved, with all these refreshing messages we have received from our speakers and the fulfilling time we have spent in the Lord’s presence, may we leave this meeting fired up to possess the nations for Christ. And may we diligently pass on everything we have received to all ministers and members as we mobilize ourselves as a great force to possess the nations.”
