Axim Area Crusade Yields 132 Souls

Date: December 17, 2017

A 4-day crusade of the Axim Area of The Church of Pentecost has yielded one hundred and thirty-two (132) souls to the glory of God.

The event, which was under the theme “In Him Is Life” (John 1:14), was held from November 21 to 27, 2017, at the Axim Victory Park. The event was officially launched by the Axim Area Head, Apostle Nicholas Siaw, and had Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei (Centre Manager, PCC), Pastor Theodore Ashia, Pastor Isaac Osei and Elder Francis Ampofo as its main speakers.

Speaking on the main theme of the event, Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei stressed that salvation is found only in Jesus for in Him dwells life. According to him, Jesus demonstrated this by resurrecting from the dead.

He explained that Jesus came to reunite man with his Maker, adding that, “Jesus came to give life and hope to the lost and to satisfy man’s thirst for his Creator.”

He said that Jesus once again proved that He is the giver of life when He raised the dead back to life as in the case of Lazarus.

Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei said “Jesus came to suffer because Adam and Eve disappointed God in the Garden of Eden. God loved the world so much that He sent His only son to lay down His life for humankind to be partakers of His eternal life.”

He further explained that anyone who misses this opportunity would be subjected to everlasting death.

After the prayer sessions, so many people gave amazing testimonies on how they have been healed of various ailments to the glory of God. Others testified of being delivered from demonic entanglements and torments.

The Axim Area Crusade was held in both morning and evening sessions.  As part of the event, Apostle Nicholas Siaw ordained 172 officers into various offices of the Church.
