KANESHIE INTERNATIONAL WORSHIP CENTRE SHOWS CONCERN

The Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC), Kaneshie, Accra, has donated a refrigerator and a gas cooker to the widows of two pastors at separate ceremonies in Accra and Tema, in a practical response to the plight of widows in the Church.

The gas cooker was presented to Mrs. Sabina Odoom by the Kaneshi Area Head, Prophet Jonathan Edmund Ameyaw, on behalf of the Centre, on Tuesday, November 25, 2008.

A week earlier, the Resident Pastor, Dela Quampah, had donated a refrigerator to Mrs Juliet Gyan at the Tema Area Mission House, on behalf of the Centre.

According to Pastor Quampah, the Centre’s show of concern was triggered by a documentary on pensioners and widows in the Church shown to the members during the Pension’s Week.

Both beneficiaries were grateful to the Centre for the kind gesture.
