Kasseh East Youth Ministry Inaugurated

The Youth Ministry of the Kasseh East District in the Tema Area was inaugurated on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Kasseh.

Speaking at the inauguration, Pastor Joseph Ntoso, Tema Area Youth Leader, urged the youth to live by the precepts of the Bible because it is only then that they can defeat the devil, and be able to serve their community and society.

Basing his exhortation on 1 John 2: 14b and David 4: 18c, Pastor Ntoso reminded the youth that they are strong because of the word of God that they have kept in their hearts and which should cause them to influence society positively. He spoke on the topic, ‘You can do it’.

The Assistant Area Youth and Deputy Editor of the Pentecost Fire, Elder S. K. Amegah, led prayer for the District Executive Committee members after the charge of office had been administered by the Area Leader.

In response, the District Leader, Elder Francis Arko, thanked the Kasseh East District Executive and the Area Youth Executive for the trust reposed in them and promised to discharge their duties conscientiously.

The rest of the newly-inducted executive were Emmanuel Donkor, Assistant District Youth Leader, Abert Ozor, Secretary, Robert Addy and Peter Amaney, both members. Co-opted members included Evans Apafo, in-change of evangelism and Amesimeku Hayford, responsible for music.

Present for the occasion were Overseer Christian Tsekpo of the Kasseh East District, Elder P. L. O. Ayer, Area Youth Secretary, Deaconess Elizabeth Amoako, Area Youth Treasurer, and Deaconess Victory Amaglo, Area Youth Executive member.
