Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah, Chairman, with mic in hand,
congratulating members of the Area Executive Committee
The newly-created Kasoa Area was inaugurated by the Chairman, Apostle Dr. Opoku
Onyinah, on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Mount Olives Assembly at Kasoa in
the Central Region. The new Area was carved from the Dansoman and Swedru Areas.
It comprises eight districts, namely, Kasoa North, South and West, Ofaakor,
Awutu Bereku, Awutu Bawjiase, Senya Bereku and Weija West and is headed by
Apostle Emmanuel Caesar Asante, immediate-past Aflao Area Head.
Inaugurating the new Area, Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah prayed that members of the
Church would be people who could be trusted to enable the Area live up to
expectation.
A seven-member Area Executive Committee headed by Apostle E. C. Asante was
inducted into office.
