WHAT APOSTLE DR. OPOKU ONYINAH EXPECTS OF HEAD OFFICE
MANAGEMENT |
He said though Joseph was a prince, he did not allow
his status as a slave in Potiphar’s house to fill
him with bitterness but he had a forgiving spirit
and conducted himself responsibly to earn the
confidence and the trust of his master.
He said sometimes the truth was bitter to tell but
it should be defended and upheld no matter whose ox
was gored.
According to the Chairman, the founder of the
Church, Pastor James McKeown, in defense of the
truth, refused to affirm the decision of the
Apostles and Prophets’ meeting of the Bradford
Apostolic, UK, that black Apostles could not
supervise white Apostles.
He told management that though Pastor McKeown’s
license was withdrawn by the UK Church, because of
his stand for the truth, the branch in the then Gold
Coast called him back to head the Church which has
become The Church of Pentecost, their employer.
Talking about his personal traits, the Chairman said
he listened to people more than he spoke and that he
abhorred cheating and would ensure that everybody
got his due.
He urged management to work with dispatch and would
expect that assignments were done without several
reminders.
The General Secretary (GS), Apostle Alfred Koduah,
used the occasion to introduce Pastor Johnny
Pepprah, personal assistant to the Chairman, and
Overseer Flavio Djawara, Portuguese Translator in
the Missions Office.

Apostle Dr.
Opoku Onyinah, Chairman of the Church, has advised management not to be
dissuaded by the taunts of friends concerning their placement and emoluments but
should focus on God who was able to change their destiny.
Apostle Dr.
Onyinah, therefore, asked management not to be dispirited because their
expectations were not being met but should be steadfast in their resolve to work
for God who would address their concerns.
The Chairman
made these remarks while sharing some sentiments with the management of the
Headquarters in the Chairman’s Conference Hall on his assumption of office on
Thursday, September 5, 2008.
Citing
Joseph as an example, Apostle Dr. Onyinah said the good conduct of Joseph while
in Potiphar’s palace earned him his master’s trust to the extent that he put him
in charge of his household.
