Youth/PENSA

The Youth Ministry of the Church of Pentecost was formed in 1996 to offer holistic ministry to the ever- increasing youth of the church. Before that time, previous attempts at mobilizing the youth of the church for fellowship and evangelism had led to the formation of PENSA in the late 1970’s and later the Pentecost Youth and Evangelistic Movement (PENTYEM) in 1991.

 
Apostle D.K. Noble Atsu led the Youth Ministry from 1996 to 2004 and was succeeded by apostle E.K. Acquah from 2004 to 2011. These two past directors, together with their leadership teams, served creditably with sterling strides in discipleship and evangelism. Currently, the Youth Ministry is operational in all the 48 administrative Areas and in every district of the church in Ghana.

Education
David NyansahHayfron is an old boy of Mfantsipim School (The School).
He pursued Pharmacy at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control. Pastor Hayfron also holds a Master of Art in Theology, Mission and Culture from the AkrofiChristaller Institute, AkropongAkuapem, and a Certificate in Theology from the Pentecost University College.
 
Working Experience
Pastor Hayfron has served as a teacher at the Greenfield Preparatory School, AgonaSwedru. As a Pharmacist, he also worked during the vacations at various Pharmacies and Hospitals including the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and the KomfoAnokye Teaching Hospital. He became a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy KNUST for four years.
 
Full Time Ministry
Pastor Hayfron was called into the full-time ministry of the Church in 2004. He has been a district minister at Ayeduase (Asokwa Area, Kumasi), OdumaseKrobo (Agormanya Area) and AbosseyOkai (Kaneshie Area, Accra). He was also the PENSA Travelling Secretary for the Greater Accra Region from 2009 to 2011. He has been the Youth Director since September 2011 after taking over from Apostle E.K Acquah.
 
Family
Pastor Hayfron is married to Sheila, a colleague Pharmacist. Their union has been blessed with three wonderful boys - David, El-Yadah and Elliot. Currently, the family worships with Ebenezer Assembly in the Mamprobi District of the Church of Pentecost.
