Pentecost Chalks Successes
The membership of The Church
of Pentecost worldwide stood at 1,882,156 in
2009. That of Ghana was 1.6 million in
11,495 local congregations. The foreign
branches of the Church had grown from 69 to
78 nations with Benin and La Cote d’Ivoire
obtaining autonomous statuses. Besides
opening 180 foreign assemblies, 9,170
converts were baptised in the missions

The Executive Council of The Church of
Pentecost has set a new standard in the
promotion of excellence in its schools when
a total of 37 teaching and non-teaching
staffs of the Pentecost Schools in Madina, a
suburb of Accra, were given various awards

academic performance” of the schools which
