Members of the Women’s Ministry from Kadadwen District in the Dunkwa Area could not hide their joy when they had the rare opportunity to interact with the General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi on Friday, August 19, 2016.

The women numbering 95 were on their maiden trip to the General Headquarters of the Church located at La, Accra,to acquaint themselves with the operations of the Church. They were led by the wife of the District Pastor, Mrs. Martha Amo Afropong, and the District Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Faustina Martey.

Interacting with the elated women at his office, Apostle Alexander Nana Kumi-Larbi commended them for visiting the Headquarters and other facilities of the Church to know how leadership has prudently managed the resources of the church.

The General Secretary who took questions from the women charged them to ensure that funds at the local and ministry levels are properly managed in order to inure to the benefit of the members.

He called on ministers and officers of the church to do everything they can to stop the waste in the system at all levels and put the monies into good use. This, he said, will help to provide a lot of social services such as educational scholarships to members.

Apostle Kumi-Larbi particularly cited the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC) which, he noted, was built without any special offerings from members. He said leadership managed to put up the facility due to the prudent management of the resources of the church.

The women also visited the Women’s Ministry Directorate where they interacted with Mrs. Jemimah Danquah, Secretary to the Women’s Director.

They later visited the studios of Pent TV. Their tour also took them to the Pentecost Convention Centre at Gomoa Fetteh, near Kasoa.
