The Kpeve District of The Church Of Pentecost began a 3-day gospel crusade at Kpeve-Tornu on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, with eight souls being won for the Lord Jesus Christ.
The crusade which is geared towards winning the unsaved for Christ saw a huge attendance of both church members and the people of the community. It had a vibrant beginning and became more spirit-filled when chorus leaders thrilled the whole congregation with hot Pentecostal praises.
Speaking on the theme for the crusade, “Jesus Christ Is The Resurrection, Life And Saviour Of Mankind” from John 11:25, the District Minister, Overseer Daniel N. Napare, stressed the need for all to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal saviour, because only He has been given authority over the world.
“It is good for one to know Him, accept Him and live for Him alone so as to make it to heaven,” he said, adding, “Idol worship and all kinds of worldly possessions can't give you eternal life except Jesus Christ who is the resurrection and the giver of life; come to Him and escape hell.”
The programme will come to a close on Friday, 9th February, and it is hoped that more souls will be fished out for Christ.
The district, as part of its projection for 2018, has targeted at winning a total of 450 souls.
