Ministers' Wives In Greater Accra Donate To Pentecost Hospital

Date: December 5, 2017

Ministers’ wives within the Greater Accra Region of The Church of Pentecost on December 1, 2017, made a donation to the Management of the Pentecost Hospital, located at Madina in Accra.

The items included liquid soaps, detergents, alcohol-based hand sanitizers, disinfectants, toilet rolls, and disposable hand napkins

The delegation of ministers’ wives was led by Mrs Grace Opoku Onyinah, wife of the Chairman of the Church. Other members of the delegation included Mrs. Rebecca Assabil (wife of Achimota Area Head), Mrs. Rose Ahalivor (wife of Madina Area Head), Mrs. Juliana Appiah Aidoo (wife of La Area Head), Mrs. Martha Onyinah Gyamfi (wife of Dansoman Area Head), Mrs. Sheila Hayfron (wife of Youth Director) and Mrs. Grace Gakpetor (wife of Anyaa-Ablekuma Area Head).

Presenting the items, Mrs Grace Opoku Onyinah explained that all ministers’ wives in the Greater Accra Region of the Church meet periodically to pray for the Church and the nations. Last year, the Lord laid it on their hearts to donate cleaning items to the Pentecost Hospital, which they did with a promise to repeat the gesture this year. The donation was therefore in fulfilment of the promise made to the hospital.

Mrs Opoku Onyinah was hopeful that the items would help to improve sanitary conditions in the hospital.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Management of the Hospital, Mrs Grace Ackah (Nursing Administrator for the Hospital), thanked the delegation and promised that the items would be used to ensure good sanitation in the hospital at all times.

Mrs Theresa Sekoh, the General Manager of the Hospital, added that the previous donation made by the group last year has been a great blessing to the hospital and they still have some in stock for use.

Mrs Rebecca Assabil, on behalf of the group, prayed for the staff and Management of the hospital whilst Pastor George Sam (the Chaplain of the Hospital), in turn, said a prayer for all the ministers’ wives.

Dr Mrs Agnes Asare (Acting Medical Administrator and a minister’s wife) was among the Management Staff who received the delegation.
