Nkawkaw Area Holds Residential Ministers And Wives' Retreat

Date: November 7, 2017

The Nkawkaw Area of The Church of Pentecost has organised a 4-day residential retreat for ministers and their wives in the Area.

The retreat, chaired by the Area Head, Prophet Robert Dentu, took place from 10th to 13th October, 2017, under the theme: “I am an Example of Christ as an Approved Workman of God” (2 Timothy 2:15).

Among the speakers were: Prophet Robert Dentu, Pastor Bright Nyamedor, Pastor James Ayim, Pastor Johnny Blantyne, Pastor Atta Agyapong, Pastor John Otchere, Pastor Samuel Adwomfo and Mrs Irene Darkwa.

The Area Head commended the ministers and their wives for their dedication to the work of God. He encouraged them to pursue the church’s vision by improving their shepherding role to members and aggressive evangelism to ensure membership growth for the last quarter of the year.

On infrastructure, Prophet Dentu noted that the Area has been able to dedicate 27 building projects so far. He was hopeful that they will be able to achieve their target of completing about 40 projects this year.

The retreat ended with a joint prayer session with officers in the Area on Friday, 13th October, 2017. It was attended by 350 participants.
