Suame Area Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost on September 5, 2017, donated five bales of used clothing, three bags of half pieces of clothes and an amount of GH¢4,000 to the Tumu Area of the Church.
The items were donated at the Tumu Central Assembly after a short service.
According to the Suame Area Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Elizabeth Anoba, who led the team, the move was part of plans to visit one internal mission Areas of the Church to put a smile on the face of the members.
The Tumu Area Women’s Leader, Deaconess Grace Kanton, who received the items on behalf of the Area, commended the move and called for more of such gestures.
On his part, the Tumu Area Head, Pastor Daniel K. Dekpor, commended the Suame Area Head, Apostle Michael Collins Asiedu, and the team to have singled out Tumu Area to benefit from the exercise.
He told the team that the gesture will go a long way to improve the lives of members in the Area and also win many souls for Christ.
Other members of the delegation included Deaconess Agnes Afriyie (Assistant Area Women’s Leader), Deaconess Cecilia Premang, Brother Roger Abujah and Brother Kofi Asirifi.
