COP - UK Holds National Women's Conference 2017

Date: November 1, 2017

The Church of Pentecost (COP) - United Kingdom (UK) has held its second National Women's Conference at the Beautiful Gate in Birmingham.

The event, which took place from October 26th to 28th 2017, was on the theme: “An Exemplary Woman in my Generation.” It is was hosted by the wife of the National Head, Mrs Elizabeth Owusu Afriyie and the National Women’s Leader, Deaconess Favour Boakye-Gyabaah.

This year's conference was bigger and better than ever with a jam-packed programme which sought to encourage, inspire, inform and excite the participants. The auditorium was flooded with guests travelling from across the United Kingdom. They experienced the power of God through teachings and ministrations from seasoned women and men of God.

The conference was graced with the presence of the wife of the Chairman of the Church, Mrs Grace Opoku Onyinah, who was the guest speaker. Also in attendance was Deaconess Faustina France (Retd.).

With the gathering of seasoned and experienced professional women, trendsetters, entrepreneurs and anointed women of God, the annual conference has quickly become a great way to meet other talented and inspirational kingdom-minded women.

This year’s event covered various aspects of the Christian walk including "the woman and her health; her children and her marriage" with an emphasis on being exemplary women in these areas and more.  There were intensive intercessory prayers for the church and the nation. Participants also had time to interact with Mrs Grace Opoku Onyinah and drew from her rich experience and wisdom.

One of the sessions exclusively centred on young ladies in an attempt to encourage and nurture them into becoming examples of Christ in their time.
