Business Exhibition Opens At GMWC'17

Date: January 10, 2017

The Chief Executive Officer of the Jospong Group of Companies, Elder Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong, has commended the leadership of The Church of Pentecost and the Planning Committee of the Global Ministers and Wives’ Conference (GMWC’17) for the opportunity afforded business owners to market their products and also to build networks at the conference.

Delivering an address prior to the launch of the Exhibition Centre at the GMWC’17 at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gomoa Fetteh, near Kasoa on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, Elder Dr Siaw Agyepong said business owners and entrepreneurs in the church are thankful for the encouragements and motivations that leadership of the Church gives them to contribute their quota to support the Kingdom business.

The purpose of the business network and exhibition was to help business owners as well as participants to invest, buy and sell products and services. The network will also afford entrepreneurs and business men and women the opportunity to network and share ideas as well as help them learn the meansby which business is done in a Christ-like manner in line with the theme of the year, “I am an example of Christ in my Generation.”

Elder Dr Siaw Agyepong who is a member of the business network made up of the business fraternity in the church suggested to the leadership of the church to consider extending the business meetings to the external branches during their respective national conferences.

“Businessmen and businesswomen consider the ministers and their wives gathered here more capable of helping business owners establish their businesses abroad better than what professional agents who are paid could do,” he concluded.

The Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah, on his part stated that the business network and exhibition is important, because it helps ministers to know the various businesses God has blessed the church with.

He encouraged members of the church to do business within the church and to also promote the businesses of others. He commended the team for putting together a business directory which contains the various businesses that have joined the network.

The Chairman was joined by Prophet James Osei Amaniampong (GMWC’17 Planning Committee Chairman) and the network members to officially cut the tape to open the Exhibition Centre. The Heads and their wives visited some of the stands at the Centre and were introduced to their services and products.

Some of the business stands visited include OmniBank, Maxi Group of Companies, Pentecost University College, Zoomlion, Abii National Savings and Loans and the various ministries of The Church of Pentecost.
