A former Executive Council Member of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Kofi Ansong (rtd), has entreated Christians to abide in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ to experience the goodness of God in the year 2017.
Speaking at the Kwashieman Official Town Central church in Kaneshie Area in the New Year, Apostle Ansong (Retd) said salvation for humans comes by grace. He explained grace as the unmerited favour of God and God’s enabled power, which is known in Twi as “Adom.”
Using Genesis 4:1-4; 5:21-24; 6:5-9; Luke 1:26-28 as his scriptures, the Retired Minister said that grace abounds through faith and obedience to the word of God. He revealed that mercy can be found in grace, adding that there is the need for Christians to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus.
Apostle S. K. Ansong (Retd) charged believers to love one another in the Lord and eschew vices that can derail them from the love of God.
