The Tamale Area Prisons Ministry of The Church of Pentecost has presented Christmas package worth GH¢1,350 to the inmates of the Tamale Central Prisons.
The items which included assorted soft drinks, biscuits and other personal provisions, were presented on behalf of the Area by Pastor Francis Osei Tutu, the Area Prisons Coordinator, during the yuletide to demonstrate the love of Christ to the inmates.
Receiving the items, Deputy Superintendent of Prisons (DSP) Martin Moonah, a senior official of the facility, expressed profound appreciation to the Church for practically demonstrating the love of Christ to the inmates.
Earlier, the team fellowshipped with the inmates, where Pastor Osei Tutu, in a sermon titled: “From Prison to President,” touched on the life of Joseph in Genesis chapters 40 and 41 to encourage them that God can transform lives in the midst of daunting challenges, saying, “There is hope for you even in prison.”
