APOSTLE James Smith
Gyimah, the new Head of the Asokwa Area Church
of Pentecost,
has stressed the n~ for Ghanaians to have resolute
faith in
God as the bedrock for a national rebuilding
and strengthening exercise.
That is because God
was ever ready to rebuild and strengthen individuals and nations that put their
faith in Him,
he said.
Apostle James Gyimah
said this in his New Year message.
Basing his sermon on
Ezekiel 36:33-37, Apostle GyiIvah noted that after Ezekiel's dramatic call in
Babylon, he
began his prophetic ministry
with messages to his peers,
including prophecy on the destruction of Jerusalem,
God's subsequent judgement of neighbouring
Gentiles and restoration of the Jews to their land where "the ruins shall be
rebuilf'.
That message, Apostle
James Gyimah noted,
is as relevant to all nations and people of today as
it was in
the times of EzekieL Ghanaians should, therefore, give their hearts to God and
look to Him to restore and rebuild them from any
afflictions of desolation,
misery,
loneliness
and wasted years.
He noted
that with faith in God,
Ghanaians and
the
country would
be rebuilt,
after which there would be justice for all, wasted
land would be
cultivated,
loneliness and isolation
would
end and "though dangers may
come, troubles
may assail,
enemies may attempt,
yet the
spirit of God will raise up a standard",
as declared
in Isaiah 59: 19.
