The Church of Pentecost has congratulated the nation’s premier
broadcasting body, the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), on the occasion of
its 75th anniversary.
On a recent visit to the GBC studios, the Chairman of the
Church, Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah stated: “We congratulate you for the quality
services you have rendered to this dear nation of ours in the past 75 years
which have become a paradigm for other broadcasting stations in the country.”
While congratulating the GBC for its services, he expressed
the hope that, as part of activities marking the anniversary, the GBC would
review its work and take steps to catapult its operations to more enviable and
glorious heights.
“As you celebrate 75 years of broadcasting, we trust that you
will review your work, upgrade it to higher heights, excel, disseminate
information to society and continue to be an agent for national development,”
Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah stressed.
He prayed the Lord’s blessing upon the GBC as it forges ahead
as the standard-bearer of broadcasting in Ghana.
