WOMEN’S LEADERS SCHOOLED

 

The Women’s Director, Mrs. Beatrice Kwafo, together with the National Women’s Executive Committee and the Area Women Leaders had a 10-day Seminar at the Agogo PUC campus from Thursday, July 2 to Saturday July 11, 2009.

 This was part of the Director’s programme for the year to get the Women sharpen their knowledge in understanding the Word of God, know the methods of preaching, teaching and counselling the womenfolk.

 Some of the Topics treated were Homiletics (The Art of preparing sermons), Hermeneutics (The Art and Science of interpreting scriptures), Leadership, Christian Doctrine, Counselling, Health and Hygiene.

Under the tutelage and directorship of Ps. Dr. Kwame Blankson, and some renowned facilitators who took the women through the course contents were Ps. Otchere of Nungua East, Elder Amos Kevin-Annan, Deputy Youth Director, Elder Oduah Mensah, Overseer Christian Tsekpoe of Kasseh, and Osofomaame Grace Nartey, a retired Nursing Tutor and widow of the late Apostle Nartey.

 In all, 144 leaders participated in the programme.
