A CHILD AFTER 19 YEARS OF MARRIAGE

Elder Alexander Kwaku Afezuke and his wife, Deaconness Vivian, have every cause to rejoice, for the Lord has dealt wonderfully with them by granting them their hearts desire.’

The two, who worship with the Adaklu Anfoe Assembly in the Ho South District, had been married for 19 good years without an issue and this situation had disturbed them a lot. They went through family pressures and trauma from even outsiders which nearly resulted in the break-up of their marriage.

The then district pastor, Rev. Alexander Agbozo, encouraged them to stand steadfast in their faith and to wait for the Lord’s own time, using Abraham’s case as an example. The pastor next took them through series of fasting and prayers, till God intervened.

Deaconess Afezuke, who many had branded barren, finally got pregnant and gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on March 26, 2008.

Following her miraculous delivery, several members of their two families have surrendered their lives to Christ. To God be all the glory.
