Apostle
Alfred Kodua receiving the
plans of the Chapel project from a member of the KNUST PENSA executive
The General
Secretary, Apostle Alfred Koduah, has asked members of the Pentecost Students
and Associates (PENSA) to strive towards building true Pentecostal churches in
their enthusiasm to serve the Lord.
Speaking to
PENSA Executive Committee members of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and
Technology and the presbytery of the Ayeduase Central Assembly, Asokwa Area, who
called on him at the Head Office in La, Accra, recently, Apostle Koduah noted
that Pentecostals not only speak and believe in tongues and other gifts of the
Holy Spirit, but also practise holiness as a way of life.
He stressed the
orderliness in the Pentecostalism, noting that praise and worship must be
separated in order not to “bring about a Pentecostal/Charismatic chaos.”
He urged the
visitors, who called to present a report and plans of a joint chapel building
project for the Ayeduase assembly to him, to employ communal labour in putting
up the chapel since, as he noted, it would reduce cost and enable them to own
the project.
He noted that
the involvement of the youth in evangelism is a sign of a bright future for The
Church.
The project,
when completed, would house both the KNUST PENSA and the Ayeduase assembly with
a parking lot for worshippers and members vehicles.
PENSA is
providing 70% of the initial estimated capital of GHC25000.00, with the Ayeduase
Assembly bearing the rest.
The General
Secretary promised the visitors a commitment of a one-off budgetary allocation
of GHC4,000.00 by the Executive Council towards the project.
