The Head Office of The Church chalked a new milestone in the history of its personnel relations on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 with the presentation of cars to departmental heads for their official and private use.

Beneficiary heads were the General Services, Finance, Human Resource, Transport and Technical Training, and Public Relations Managers.

Others, who received new vehicles in replacement of their malfunctioning or aged ones, were the Tamale Area Head, the Radio Pastor and the Manager, Special Duties.

Making the presentations on behalf of the Top Management and Executive Council of The Church, the Chairman, Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah, noted that with the improvement in the resources of The Church, the time had finally arrived to extend a facility being enjoyed by senior ministers and pastors to the departmental heads.

He prayed for God’s protection on the vehicles as the recipients used them for their official duties and other commitments.

Elder K. L. Odame Otoo, General Services Manager and longest-serving manager at the Head Office, thanked the Top Management on behalf of his colleagues for the vehicles. He promised that the recipients would take proper care of them to extend their lifespan.

Others present at the occasion were the General Secretary, Apostle Alfred Koduah; Apostle Dr. S. K. Baidoo, International Missions Director; Apostles Francis Ofori Yeboah, J. S. Gyimah, and Ekow Badu Wood, Executive Council members, some Head Office managers and directors and members of the a committee put in place by the Executive Council to fashion out guidelines for disciplining and restoration of offenders in The Church.

The presentations come two years into the five-year term of the Chairman who promised on his assumption of office to do everything in his power to improve work ethics at the seat of The Church’s administration.
