The Head Office of The
Church chalked a new milestone in the history of its personnel relations on
Wednesday, August 5, 2009 with the presentation of cars to departmental heads
for their official and private use.
Beneficiary heads were the
General Services, Finance, Human Resource, Transport and Technical Training, and
Public Relations Managers.
Others, who
received new vehicles in replacement of their malfunctioning or aged ones, were
the Tamale Area Head, the Radio Pastor and the Manager, Special Duties.

Making the
presentations on behalf of the Top Management and Executive Council of The
Church, the Chairman, Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah, noted that with the improvement
in the resources of The Church, the time had finally arrived to extend a
facility being enjoyed by senior ministers and pastors to the departmental
heads.
He prayed for
God’s protection on the vehicles as the recipients used them for their official
duties and other commitments.

Odame Otoo, General Services Manager and longest-serving manager at the Head
Office, thanked the Top Management on behalf of his colleagues for the vehicles.
He promised that the recipients would take proper care of them to extend their
lifespan.
Others present
at the occasion were the General Secretary, Apostle Alfred Koduah; Apostle Dr.
S. K. Baidoo, International Missions Director; Apostles Francis Ofori Yeboah, J.
S. Gyimah, and Ekow Badu Wood, Executive Council members, some Head Office
managers and directors and members of the a committee put in place by the
Executive Council to fashion out guidelines for disciplining and restoration of
offenders in The Church.
The
presentations come two years into the five-year term of the Chairman who
promised on his assumption of office to do everything in his power to improve
work ethics at the seat of The Church’s administration.
